| Many emissions standards focus on regulating pollutants released by automobiles and other powered vehicles. Others regulate emissions from industry, power plants, small equipment such as lawnmowers and diesel generators and other sources of air pollution. |
| The IMO has set mandatory legislation demanding global marine reduce carbon intensity by 40% by 2030, 70% by 2050 and an overall greenhouse gases (GHG) emission reduction of 50% by 2050. |
| Fuel cell power running on hydrogen is widely accepted as the optimal solution to reducing GHG. However, this is only viable if the marine industry can overcome the supply, cost of transport, storage, and refuelling challenges of providing hydrogen to the vessel. |
| DK Naval Technologies, specialising in research and development in naval architecture and marine engineering, has developed an ultimate solution to the challenging emission regulations. The "State of The Art" vessel is designed and patented by DK Naval Technologies and is capable to propel with Zero-Emission capabilities, eliminating the use of fossil fuel. |
| Lastly, DK Naval Technologies has developed "Earth-Flux", an award winning system recognised in Hamburg, Germany in 2022. The system harnesses wind turbine technology to generate renewable energy. Solar and hydro-turbine systems constantly charge the lithium-ion batteries for the propulsion of the vessel. |
